Mosque Construction Project (3rd Masjid)

Emaan Foundation Cambodia has launched a mosque construction initiative to establish a worship facility in Kampong Chhnang Province. The project, located in Ta Os Village, Kdul Sen Chey Commune, Teuk Phos District, addresses the needs of a Muslim community that previously lacked adequate religious infrastructure.

The facility is designed to accommodate approximately 250 worshippers. With the generous support of Nudgem, contributing USD 82,344, the new mosque is being constructed to serve multiple community functions beyond prayer.

Construction began with planning and site preparation in April 2025. The masjid is intended to become a shared space for learning, community activities, and meaningful connection among residents.

Upon completion, the mosque will provide worship spaces, Islamic education opportunities, and serve as a community gathering point. The initiative reflects collaboration between Emaan Foundation Cambodia, local authorities, community leaders, and technical partners, with residents actively participating throughout the construction process.
