Job Description

The Project Intern will gain practical experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. During the four-month internship period, the intern will work closely with the project team to support project preparation, coordination, documentation, and reporting. This opportunity will help the intern develop essential project management skills, strengthen communication and teamwork, and build confidence in managing real project activities. By the end of the four months, the intern will complete an assigned project and prepare a final internship report highlighting key tasks, skills gained, and learning outcomes.

Develop practical skills in project planning and preparation.

  • Assist in preparing project concept notes and proposals.
  • Conduct basic research and collect information for project planning.
  • Assist in developing project activities, timelines, and expected results.
  • Support the preparation of project budgets and required documents.
  • Prepare simple project schedules, checklists, and activity plans.
  • Assist in preparing materials, logistics, and communications for activities.
  • Coordinate with team members, partners, and participants.
  • Update project trackers and related documents.
  • Strengthen project management skills through project implementation and monitoring

  • Assist in implementing assigned projects and activities.
  • Support on-site coordination and project logistics.
  • Monitor activities according to the approved plan and schedule.
  • Collect attendance, feedback, photos, and other project information.
  • Coordinate with participants, partners, and team members as needed.
  • Report challenges or issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing activity reports and progress updates.
  • Organize project documents and supporting evidence.
  • Build confidence in project evaluation, reporting, and improvement

  • Assist in conducting project evaluations and After Action Reviews (AAR).
  • Review feedback and project results to identify key findings.
  • Assist in preparing final project reports.
  • Identify lessons learned, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Suggest practical recommendations for future projects.
  • Keep project records and documentation up to date.
  • Prepare and present a final internship report highlighting key tasks, skills gained, and learning outcomes.
  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in project management, community development, management, or a related field.
  • Current student in years 2-4 or graduating.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Willingness to learn and explore
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic English communication and writing skills.
