The smile of Ramadan is a kind of program that was conducted to provide food packs to the homeless people along the street in Phnom Penh. Emaan Hostel led the program for Undergraduate Students with support from Volunteer students. It was held in 7 different locations in Phnom Penh such as Phar Chas-Market, Central Market, Wat Phnom, Chroy Changva Bridge, Prek Pnov Bridge, and In front of the Royal Palaces, and Boat Community Chroy Chonva. The program’s purpose was to give them a smile of hope in struggling foreword by providing a delicious package of food. 250 elderly homeless people along the street received food packs. In particular, it was an act that showed how to help each other in difficult situations. The project was spent $1,000 on implementation. Here below are some samples photos of the activities:
