Building a Space for Worship, Learning, and Community
Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia (2025–2026) Emaan Foundation Cambodia successfully initiated the Mosque Construction Project (3rd Masjid) to address the urgent need for a proper place of worship in a rural Muslim community.

Located in Ta Os Village, Kdul Sen Chey Commune, Teuk Phos District, Kampong Chhnang Province, the project aims to serve a growing Muslim population that has long faced challenges in accessing proper religious facilities. Before this initiative, the community did not have a suitable space for daily prayers, Friday congregations, or Islamic learning.

With the generous support of Nudgem, contributing USD 82,344, the new mosque is being constructed to accommodate around 250 worshippers. Beyond serving as a place of prayer, the masjid is intended to become a shared space for learning, community activities, and meaningful connection among residents.
The project began in April 2025 with planning, site preparation, and coordination with local authorities and community leaders. Since then, construction has been progressing steadily, supported by close monitoring and strong collaboration between Emaan Foundation Cambodia, project management teams, and technical partners responsible for design and construction. Local community members have also played an active role throughout the process.

Once completed, the mosque will provide long-term benefits, including:
- A proper and comfortable place for worship
- A space for Islamic learning and education
- A gathering place that brings the community closer together
Emaan Foundation Cambodia extends its sincere appreciation to Nudgem for their generous support, as well as to all partners and community members who have contributed to the progress of this project. Their support is helping to create a lasting impact that goes far beyond construction.
